This Mom Reclaimed Her Health to Ensure She’d be Around for Her Kids

At age 41, Meagan was a mom of two and her health was abysmal. The writing was on the wall when her bloodwork came in: She needed to make a change if she wanted to be around for her kids. She credits this program with saving her life.

Meet Meagan

In 2021, Meagan’s friends told her about a “diet” they were doing called Bright Line Eating… All she could hear was, “You can’t eat the food that you like to eat.” And that made it a no-go for her.

Then, in November 2022, Meagan was 41 years old and got the scariest lab results of her life. Her triglycerides were almost 700. Her A1C was 9.6. Her total cholesterol was almost 300. Plus she had high blood pressure and chronic fatigue. She knew that if she didn’t make a change, her kids (then 2 and 7) were going to grow up without their mom. She made the decision to do the Bright Line Eating program, in hopes that it would help. 

It didn’t just help, it changed her life… and she credits it with saving her life. Since starting Bright Line Eating, Meagan has lost 140 pounds. But that’s not even the best news… The most exciting thing is that all of her labs have normalized! She’s even been able to get off all of her medication! No more cholesterol pills, no more blood pressure medication, and no more diabetes medication! Her A1C is now normal at 4.9!

She entered the Bright Line Eating weight-loss Maintenance phase in February 2024, 15 months after starting her journey. Learning how to do what we call “the maintenance dance” has proven to be the most challenging, but highly rewarding part of the program—figuring out how to maintain her Bright Body for the rest of her life.

Meagan practices Pilates three times a week now. She’s amazed that she gets to live in her BRIGHT Body and that it will move in all the ways it can now!

She says she still has so much more to learn and so much life left to live. She’s so very grateful for Bright Line Eating and how this program has transformed her.
