She Regained Weight After Stopping Ozempic—Then Lost 121.5 Pounds at Age 61 with Bright Line Eating
After rapid rebound weight gain, Dawn found a sustainable solution that helped her lose over 120 pounds—even through surgery, rehab, and a cyclone.
Meet Dawn M.
When Dawn, age 61, discontinued Ozempic, her weight returned quickly. Despite trying two other programs, she couldn’t stop the rebound and eventually reached her highest weight ever: 286 pounds.
Dawn came to Bright Line Eating (BLE) seeking a solution that could finally help her maintain weight loss. She joined Boot Camp 2.0, connected with a study buddy group, and discovered the Unofficial BLE Zoom meetings, which gave her a platform to share her experiences and gain support from fellow members.
From Rebound Weight Gain to Sustainable Change
Within a few weeks, Dawn found a system that worked with her brain instead of against it. The structure of BLE helped her stay consistent, manage cravings, and make lasting changes.
Staying on Track Through Major Life Challenges
During her first year, Dawn faced several significant obstacles: a 3-day hospital stay for foot surgery, a 3-week stay in a rehabilitation facility, and a cyclone. She stayed Bright throughout it all, crediting both the program and the community support for helping her remain on track.
Building Community and Giving Back
Dawn didn’t just participate—she became a leader in the BLE community. She co-chaired Sunday Morning Meditation meetings and joined the Morning and Evening Accountability Calls. When the Evening Call was discontinued, she helped create a new Evening Accountability Check-In Meet-Up, held every night at 6 p.m. PST, which now thrives with two co-chairs and growing participation.
121.5 Pounds Lost—and a Lifestyle for Life
After one year with BLE, Dawn has lost 121.5 pounds and celebrated significant changes in her face, chin, and neck. She is currently in Maintenance 2, preparing to transition fully into maintenance, and feels confident in her ability to sustain her transformation.
Dawn shares, “I feel so taken care of with this program and the people who are in it, living it together one day at a time.”
*People following the Bright Line Eating program lose an average of 1-2 pounds per week. Featured participants expended more time and effort than required and were asked to share their experiences to help promote the program because of the extraordinary results they achieved.
